Miesha House never had a permanent place to call home as a child. Her family was evicted frequently. She witnessed substance abuse and domestic violence. She often went without food.
At 14, she and her three siblings were placed in a group home, then back home briefly before moving out again.
“I was homeless at 16. It was hard for me to stay in school,” House said.

There, she learned about Foster360, a nonprofit that provides housing, resources and trauma services for 18- to 24-year-olds aging out of the foster care system.
